Nuclear Fuel Cycling-Related Equipment


The main nuclear products of Kanadevia are transport casks and storage casks for spent nuclear fuel generated from nuclear power plants, as well as auxiliary equipment such as heat exchangers for nuclear power plants, and vessels and equipment used in reprocessing plants. In particular, we have a track record of more than 40 years in spent fuel transportation and storage casks, beginning with the development and manufacturing of the HZ-75T, our first domestically-produced product, in 1978. In 2011, Kanadevia obtained the N Stamp for containers and equipment related to nuclear facilities and equipment of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), and we will actively work on the production of nuclear equipment for nuclear power plants in the future.

Hydrogen Generation Systems


HYDROSPRING is an onsite hydrogen generator that electrolyzes water to generate and supply high-purity hydrogen gas. In recent years, hydrogen has been attracting attention as a form of next-generation energy. It is expected to be used as clean energy by combining it with CO2-free electricity such as renewable energy (Power to Gas). HYDROSPRING® meets this demand. Kanadevia will meet the demands of a wide variety of water electrolysis systems and contribute to the realization of a hydrogen-based society.

Methanation

Kanadevia has developed methanation equipment that can generate methane gas from the raw materials of CO2 and hydrogen. CO2 recovered from the exhaust gas of industrial facilities is converted into methane fuel and used effectively. In this way, we contribute to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and the early realization of a carbon recycling society.

    All-solid-state Lithium-ion Batteries


A next-generation battery expected to be a game changer in the future

An all-solid-state lithium-ion battery (AS-LiB®) is a battery that uses solid substances for all its constituent materials. Kanadevia has developed a proprietary manufacturing method that utilizes machining technology. This manufacturing method eliminates the mechanical pressurization required when charging and discharging conventional all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries.
